good rebluff spot
I had another read here, but the major thing is to pay attention to the types of boards opponents are check-raising. This guy liked to check-raise really dry ones, so I called and rebluffed him on the turn.

Final Pot: $308.00
BTN/SB shows 7 8 (a pair of Kings)
Hero shows A Q (a pair of Kings)
Hero wins $307.50
Key thing in this hand is that we're deep and that this villain will call 3bets wide and isn't afraid to bluff. Once we c/c the flop the turn and river almost don't matter since we're calling against a polarized range that is weighed much more heavily towards bluffs - there are more bluffs than kings in his range - and if he catches on the turn or river then so be it.

I'd actually like to see myself checkraise this flop and then bet two streets because it balances my range a lot given that I check AX a lot preflop for deception when it gets limped. As played I should be barreling the river as well because it's so rare that villain has an ace.

This guy played extremely standard and his checkraising range on the flop is the nuts or a monster draw. Raising the river is borderline suicidal as a result.

Same deal here, just playing against his very standard range. He cbets his entire range on the flop (including A highs from this guy), so my cr is +ev to just take the pot down right away. Once he calls I expect him to have 7x, the draws, some overpairs, and 8x.
Turn brings the 8 so now my A high is doing really well since quads for him are a miracle and 7x might check through.
When bets a fishy amount my wheels started going. His most likely holding here is 7x, but he might make this kind of small bet with his useless draws hoping to take the pot down. Given the pot odds I can make a call with A high here with the intention of showing it down.
River is bad and I was check/folding it for sure, but I get the showdown I wanted and ship a nice pot.
Key thing in this hand is that my turn call with ace high only needs to be good 30% of the time to break even, and my outs are often good or chopping.
