- geting two outed by an overpair after flopping a set (-$140)
- flopping middle set into a straight (-$106)
Questionable hand here:
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Hero (BB) ($113.50)
UTG ($57.70)
MP ($250.15) -- decent LAG running at 20/18 over <100 hands
CO ($298.35)
Button ($74.95)
SB ($517.30)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 9
1 fold, MP raises to $3.50, 2 folds, SB calls $3, Hero calls $2.50
Could 3bet this preflop but I decided to just call here.
Flop: ($10.50) 8, 2, 8 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP bets $8, 1 fold, Hero calls $8
This guy seemed like a decent LAG so I just call here to see a safe turn card. I figure if I check raise he can play his hand perfectly, whereas I might get some more money out of him if he decides to double barrel the turn. cr/fold also seems really spewy if he comes back over the top.
Turn: ($26.50) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $20, Hero calls $20
Good turn card. At this point I have ~$70 left in my stack. Not sure whether I should be shoving here.
River: ($66.50) K (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $48, Hero calls $48
This call is bad because my hand is pretty face-up at this point. Should probably be check/fold on the river.
Total pot: $162.50 | Rake: $3
Results in white below:
Hero had 9, 9 (two pair, nines and eights).
MP had A, A (two pair, Aces and eights).
Outcome: MP won $159.50
All my big winning hands were pretty standard so no point posting them.

In retrospect I should be bet/folding the turn in that 99 hand.
